Account Manager – West Oxfordshire

Our very prestigious Oxford based I.T Client is now looking to grow its Internally based Account Management team – and is seeking to fill five new slots.

Responsibilities:
• Work with and develop partnerships to generate sales leads and opportunities. Similarly to work with other key vendors to establish business opportunities and sales leads.
• Responsible for managing the sales pipeline.
• Analyse and qualify all appropriate new enquiries.
• Remain current and market-aware by remaining knowledgeable about the IT market, its trends and the company’s competitors.
• In association with their sales leader, identify and develop sales strategies and go-to-market activities to introduce new technologies and services as appropriate to their customer base.
• Meet and exceed financial and performance targets as agreed.
• Maintain awareness of and, as necessary, assist in the monitoring and control of customer financial accounts and credit lines.
• Liaise and collaborate with other internal departments in order to meet and achieve objectives.
• Maintain accurate and appropriate records and reference documentation for the provision of internal management information.
• Ensure that all customers are handled in an efficient, responsive and professional manner.
• Develop and nurture strong relations with key customer contacts.

• Professional approach to team and client relationships.
• Track record of delivering against revenue targets.
• Is responsive to customer needs & requests
• Has good technical understanding of the products and solutions in portfolio
• In-depth understanding of his marketplace and it’s key business drivers
• Credibility with IT Managers and Network Managers in his customer base
• Strong cross-collaboration skills
• Can build and lead a virtual team
• Manages and utilises resources in an effective manner
• Strong sales skills (qualification, negotiation, insight, relationship building, presentation, communication)
• Strong work ethic
• Results oriented
• Understands his competition and their activity in his account base
• Strong planning skills

Remuneration & Benefits:
• Basic salary = £25 to £35k + OTE £45-£55k
• Pension (after probation period) – matched to 3%
• 25 days annual holiday (January to December), rising to 28 days
• Life assurance – 2 x base salary
• Share Scheme (when eligible)
