| Payroll Assistant - Oxford A Payroll Assistant is required by our client based in Oxford. This permanent position is ideal for someone with some previous payroll experience, and offers the chance to join a successful company. Job Specification Create reports from Payroll system and send to all managers Collate all information when forms are returned Prepare import of absence data submitted by Managers Prepare input for extra hours and payments Liaise with Managers and Regional Directors with any queries on sheets Liaise with employees answer all queries efficiently and effectively Calculate deductions for unpaid absence and SSP offset Enter leaver details and deduct and close staff account for leavers Calculate payment or deduction of holiday pay Prepare wage log reports when required Enter expense claims Check data input by other members of the team Print, seal and distribute payslips for all companies Print and distribute P45 for all companies Produce analysis reports and payroll reports to other companies Collecting And Opening post, Filing Process all payroll data (leavers, personal changes and salary changes) The successful candidate will: Be experienced in payroll (essential) Have experience of a computerised payroll system (essential) Have payroll legislation knowledge including PAYE, Statutory payments etc (essential) Have knowledge of MS Excel and Word (essential) Be self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative and as well as being part of a team.
